Could There Be Some Explanation Why You Wouldn’t Want A Hybrid Car
Folks are commonly in the market for getting a new car. One of several thrills in life is definitely to shop for a car with a new look, a new color, in addition to that new car smell. You may be out looking for new car but maybe you are resisting to check out a hybrid as an option. Maybe you are too embarrassed about what your friends and family are going to think if you acquired a hybrid. Conceivably you are worried that the people near you would think you are some wacko tree-hugging, whale-saving environmentalist nutcase. So you do your very best to uncover a car that has gas economy that rivals a hybrid. You know about sports cars, SUVs, all the popular car models, even the different types of hybrids. You could be considering that there must be a car that is more fuel efficient than a hybrid. You search the dealerships looking for that fuel-efficient non-hybrid car. You believe in all your heart that there is a traditional gas-powered car that is better and cooler than a hybrid somewhere. But whats the reason it is nowhere to be located? You believe that a smaller conventional car out there is the answer. Or perhaps, you can find a sexier electric car as an alternative. Even though you performed your research in finding a fuel-efficient gas-powered car, you simply could not find one. Electric cars cannot possibly be compared to hybrids, because they don’t even need gas to power them a lot of the time. A typical economy car can’t rival a hybrid because they continue to use more gas than larger hybrids. So there are no mystery cars out there that are better than a hybrid. Based on a statement by the EPA, hybrid cars are far superior in fuel efficiency than ordinary gas powered cars. The best in class hybrid automobile is the Toyota Prius which obtains around 50 miles per gallon in the city. There are quite a lot of car makers that produce hybrid cars that can go over 40 miles per gallon. If you insist on not having a hybrid, then you can no longer use fuel efficiency as a reason. There actually is no reason for not owning a hybrid car. It definitely is the auto of the future. Driving a hybrid is no different than driving a typical car aside from its awesome fuel efficiency. There are plenty of choices, now that more car corporations are getting involved, and competing against each other. Hopefully you realize now that there is no better choice than hybrids when looking for a fuel efficient car. You could bet that hybrids are the way to go in the near future until automakers come out with something more brilliant. If you are still unhappy with the most recent model of hybrids, you can wait a bit as more variety of models appear on the market. Makers will always be looking for more efficient gas-engine systems, along with battery-electric cars, and also plug-in hybrids. The vehicle you’ve always dreamed of most likely is not out there yet, but at any rate you can get a hybrid.

My Story of Owning a CNG Car.
Have you noticed how gas prices keep going through a yo-yo effect, but the trend just keeps getting more expensive. If you remember 2008, gas prices were on average at $3 a gallon at the beginning of the year and jumped to over $4.5 a gallon through the summer. The increases in gas prices was taking a big toll on many of my friends and families wallets. But not mine, I purchased a CNG Car (compressed natural gas) that not only saves a load of money (only an average of $0.75 a gallon equivalent through 2008) but is far and beyond a cleaner solution for the environment.
