Everyone is used to buying bottled water. It has become a very normal practice in these times of use and throw. However, most of the users of such bottled drinking water may not have a clue that the innocuous seeming plastic bottles carry lot of harmful chemicals. These plastic bottles are found to leak BPA, short for Bisphenol A, which is a chemical classified as harmful. Several investigations by the US Government into the detrimental effects of BPA have also made to the news headlines. Consequently, many stores now do not sell plastic products that are suspected to leech BPA.
