Texan Agriculture Hit By Exceptional Dry Spell

The blogger’s charter describes at great length my obligation, as a British blogger, to contrast weather around the world with the rain that I’ve inevitably experienced in the last week. So here goes. After a glorious April, we’ve not seen much of the sun. Wake up at the start of the week and expect that sunny Monday to go south before the afternoon even arrives. And don’t expect the national weather to allow more than a couple of breakthrough rays of weekend sun. With a Jenga set and a pack of uno cards, me and my housemates try desperately to stave off the boredom of a wet weekend. I usually spend my weekends down at the beach. I’ve barely been this year!
